Almost 11 AM- I still haven't gotten moving. I am rather enjoying just relaxing but the main reason is that it's rather cool for this time of year. A bit cool inside and the weather reports says it's 58 degrees outside. (I haven't ventured out to check yet. It probably is warmer in the sun.) Still a Texan by nature. 58 degrees is kind of cold to me.
No matter what, I know me. Once I get moving, I tend to get a lot done in a short time. Never as much as I plan, so it seems like less. Long as I take time to prioritize things, I'm pretty efficient.
As of right now, things are looking like this is going to be a rather cool summer across the US. Can't wait to hear the climate change deniers talk about that. They never grasp the global concept or understand the changes here are the result of warming ocean temperatures. Oceans are the greatest heat reservoirs on the earth's surface. Something else they don't grasp because they don't understand heat as being comparative.
For the most part, I'm not going to complain if this also means an increase in rainfall concurrently here. I'm sure Texas is not happy because there is a lot of flooding going on there recently. Though it is funny how the reactions have changed over the years. Flooding was of course not a good thing years ago but Texans accepted it as a normal course of nature which happens sometimes. You adjust, do what you can and change your normal schedule to go along with it.
2:45 PM- got out, moved a bunch of scrap wood around, got some more organized and started burning a lot of it (not stable enough to use for much). Now it started drizzling. Waiting to see if it's going to continue.
Also trimmed the grass in the garden. Looks a lot better now. I still need to trim the grass in the front yard if it stops raining.
Still dragging butt. Feel like my entire intestinal tract is inflamed and bloated. Still better than yesterday. It may not have been the root cause but I'm sure the stress of work this past week did not help the condition in the least.
6:30 PM- Trimmed the grass in the front yard and finished burning all the unwanted wood..for now. Tacked down black plastic over the clear plastic in much of the garden, since the weeds were just growing underneath the clear plastic.
So, the whole back and front yard look much better.
