Procrastination

I've been pretty bad about procrastinating some things for a while now. Part health issues (now slowly fading after a long escalation), part really busy, part lazy I guess.

Promised my boss some seeds about three weeks ago. I finally packed them for shipping this evening. 

Been meaning to get watermelon seeds started for about three weeks, also. Did that this evening, too. 

Yes, the pattern shows how long my health problems escalated. Not too painful, the absolute worst part is fatigue. I've always had a good amount of energy, being tired is so not me.

I suspect I had dropped back into anemia. I had not been taking iron on a regular basis so that came back to haunt me. For about the last week, been taking it daily. (Lots of people may do that but they really do not need that much iron. In fact, it can place them at risk of blood clots, heart attack, pulmonary embolism and stroke.) Not feeling anemic any more. Guess iron needs to be an absolute daily routine. My diet used to supply iron from fortified wheat flour and red meat. Gluten free flours don't have iron added. Red meat is bad for U.C. and very expensive now. 

Tomorrow morning is payday and I have managed to save more than $200 over my goal. I do still owe on a bill or two. I have changed my approach slightly, trying to maintain the highest average bank balance possible. 

Time to get to bed.
