Finally got my paycheck for the first reviews I completed. Still have another check in a couple of weeks. This one wasn't much, just $162. Enough to get through the weekend, do something special with daughter.
For safety, I used part of it a few moments ago to buy a spare battery for the scooter. Had it happen a couple of times that the battery died on me. (Usually from making short trips where battery didn't have time to charge after starting.) I've been lucky and been close to some resources each time which prevented major problems. Still, not a situation I would want to be in if out in the sticks. Better to have a spare with me. Battery is small, so won't take up a lot of room.
Got the mortgage modification paperwork last night. Filled it out and faxed it a short while ago. Hoping for the best.
No call from the insurance company yet. Was hoping I would hear something today. If nothing else, I have an interview on Monday for an office job which starts in a few weeks. Pay isn't great and it's a contract position but it can be a bridge to something else.
Need to go grocery shopping for some additional items which I couldn't spare money on yesterday. Then need to clean house.
