Loan modification

After employment problems for so long, I finally had to inquire about a mortgage loan modification today. It's looking promising. In my favor that I have been continuing to try making what payments I could. It would be a big relief if that goes through.

Got the grape vine, apple and plum tree cuttings done today. Know if they take root in a few weeks.

Kind of an odd thing. There seem to be more positions opening up for LPN's in paperwork related positions than clinical lately. I've been applying for a variety of positions, mostly involved with insurance companies. After two positions doing medical record reviews and now a strangely concentrated number of insurance related positions being prominent, that may be the direction I am meant to be taking.

I do believe my life has been led in various directions at different times. Much of it I did not realize until after the fact. Other times, it's really a matter of paying attention to the right signs. This time, seeming a bit obvious. While I have had many clinical applications out, I have wound up working for two (hired by three) companies for chart reviews. Now at this time, the highest number of LPN positions being posted on all job boards are for an insurance company seeking LPN care managers. Of two positions posted on the local paper's classified for LPN, one is for what amounts to a forensic LPN position with a lawyer. In response to my resume, one of which was anonymous, I have received at least three replies from insurance companies. How many clinical positions have called? None. And I keep getting stabbed in the back and blackballed in clinical jobs.

Okay, so I am looking closely at the insurance positions. Now all I need is for someone to offer me a real job. I admit I am much more open to that line of work than at any time in my past. It actually sounds like something I would enjoy and be quite good at. At this point in my life, any way. Not so much when I was younger. Probably a good time to be entering that field, also.
