Never did get the grass trimmed yesterday. Got rained out. Just have to do that tomorrow.
Have to trim grass and clean house tomorrow and Monday to be ready for the inspections on Tue. Not sure if the buyer will be here. I want to be, if for nothing but to show how to open the trap doors to the crawl space.
The house has been a lot more comfortable since I fixed the swamp cooler the other day. More humid and cooler. Got a lot cooler while it was raining and the outdoor temperature cooled down.
I'm finally at the point where I am counting down the days until the house closes and I can leave. Right now looking at 27 days.
Paycheck went in the bank this morning, so that looks a lot better. For the moment. Child support hasn't been cashed yet. The ex said the first check I sent never arrived, so I sent another a few days ago. I wasn't sure if I had 2 shifts or 3 on this check. It was 3. Not a great check but keeps me above the level I want to maintain. May drop below that for a day or two when I buy the AC parts but that's only until I sell the Saturn. My next check will have 4 shifts on it and my final check probably 1 day. The last check will hit the bank the same day I'll be on the road.
So, if I keep my expenses down I should be able to be right at the amount I wanted to have when I move. But I still have some bills to pay, so I may be a little too optimistic. It may fall a couple hundred short. Hard to tell just yet. Few things in flux. But if I'm within a few hundred and not over $1000 off, I'll be happy. Even if it exceeds that, just have to suck it up. What could I do?
I'm really ready to be gone from here.
