My paycheck did not go in the bank yet. It will probably go in tonight.
In spite of that, I decided to try and get the van registered just to get it done.
So, went to get the emissions tested. No problem, passed with flying colors.
Then I drove around the parking lot to the DMV. Walked in the door. Standing room only. To the point it would probably take 4 hours to get done.
That figures. I did not think of the fact that it is the first Fri of the month in THE most government dependent state in the country.
So, that indicates that the tire shop would be just as busy. I was going to get front tires for the van also.
I just decided to wait until next week to get those things done. I have the insurance, have the emissions. If I happened to get pulled over I can present those and explain about the DMV. Chances are I'd be let off with a warning. Besides, it's been years since I was pulled over. I've been pulled over less than ten times in my whole life and almost every time wound up with a warning. Then one was eventually dismissed years later.
That leaves me with nothing to do today. I may trim the grass later after it cools down. Right now too hot and humid.
