School fair

Met my daughter at her school fair this evening. Her last big one at this school. She's growing up so fast. We had fun. Going to be sad for her to go to another school. She loves this school and the teachers.

Tonight, I looked around and realized how blind I've been to just how much of a mess this house is. This coming week I need to start getting serious about straightening it out. Still going to take a while because I still lack shelf and cabinet space. Still not an excuse for the condition the house is currently in. I admit I get tired of working all the time but the house has gotten messy enough to be unhealthy and a really bad example for my daughter. Once and for all, this summer it's going to change.

Picked up new drip line on the way home tonight. Can replace some bad lines and get daughter's small garden set up for irrigation.

The car is running much better since I removed the excess oil. No more check engine light.

Called the local Mazda dealer to see if they could locate a replacement seat belt assembly. They called back and left a message but only for me to call back. Don't know if they found it or not. Not expecting it to be cheap but alternative is having some welding done and a permanent alteration for a more standard belt. That would be okay but would rather have the original configuration. Try again this week to take the existing mechanism apart and fix it.
