I like things that begin or end with "and". Doesn't have to be "and"
anything. Just "and". It implies a middle. I like middles. The middle of
a sandwich. Middle of a pizza. Middle of a meatloaf. Middle of an Oreo.

Lots of people say they don't like endings but I'm not that fond of beginnings, either.
Lots of people contemplate how sad endings are but not all endings are sad. However, endings lead to other beginnings. And beginnings are unsure, unstable.
I think it's a statement to the fact that I enjoy stability. Stable people enjoy middles. Beginnings and endings are edges. Edges are rough and decay rapidly. Middles are better preserved. The middle of a ship on the ocean is the most stable point. The middle of a bus is often the most safe.
