Already ran acid through the two active zones. Things look fairly good already. An hour would probably be good enough to let it sit, then flush. If sun is still high enough, I'll plant out the established lettuce and spinach at that time. Still need to program the timers. Batteries were dead, so old programs were lost. Just as well. Using a very different schedule than last year for now.
I do need to replace the inlet hose for the fertilizer injector. Have an air leak somewhere. Was able to keep the leaky spot submerged but could not empty the bucket.
I let a little acid run on the existing grass, which is turning green down the center walk. Small amounts make it greener. But for larger amounts have to turn the sprinklers toward the bare garden soil. Worry right now is wind. Not good to let sprinklers run acid if the wind will blow it toward the dogs..or me.
Ordered one more collar for invisible fence. Realized I only need one, since the eldest female will be going to the shelter in a few weeks. And will remain restrained until that time. It's a sad situation. Nt something I want to do. Just cannot keep her around with her attacking other dogs for no apparent reason. She's been in the family for several years. Hate the idea that she may not be adopted, since she's an adult dog. Tried all I can, though. At this point, I can't even let her run loose in the yard with the other dogs because she may kill one of them.
