Late to work

I am starting work late this morning. Woke up with a seriously bad bronchitis attack. Could not speak two words without coughing up a lung.

This year is absolutely the worst I have had this in decades, maybe my life. Normally it goes away after an hour or so, with less major symptoms intermittently. Right now, this has been going on for about 5 days. Last week I had a sinus infection but that's gone. All allergies now.

Part because we have had more rain than any time since moving here. That has increased cottonwood pollen dramatically.

I do know I need to thoroughly clean the house to remove what pollen has blown in.

Right now, I am taking Benadryl, Primatene, Zyrtec, Claritin, nasal spray and Sudafed PE. Sounds like a lot but not when you factor in two autoimmune disorders for which suppressing the immune system is normal treatment. I was thinking the other day that the autoimmune issues made the bronchitis worse. Now I'm thinking it's the opposite. Either way, when one gets worse the other also gets worse.

Maybe I should ask a doctor for something to suppress my immune system.

I'll be written up for calling off first day after vacation. Not much I can do about it. Not staying out the whole day. Just waiting to be able to breathe well enough to talk without taking out someone's hearing. Getting there slowly.
