Well, it's official. The slow time of year for work is over! They finally started offering OT again. So I'm picking up an extra hour tomorrow morning. Figured it was on the way Fri, when they offered OT over the weekend for written cases. Then I knew it was on the way when apparently few if any people took it and this morning they were spastic about getting written cases done between calls. Problem? There is no between calls. There were calls waiting in the queue all day. So, later in the day the offer of OT went out.
Glad I went to the gym last night. I forgot tonight is pizza night.
However, I'm not getting much done tonight. I am seriously sore from Thur and Sun workouts.
Ran to the store for a few things. Crap. I forgot that it's welfare week. I hate going to the store right after welfare, food stamps and Social Security comes out. Bad enough in some places but in a nearly all Mexican neighborhood it's the pits.
There was an email that went out today which made mention of bonuses. Seems I may be eligible for one. I think, it wasn't too clear. If I am, I'll be happy. If not, I'll be fairly pissed they sent out blanket emails about bonuses to me and other people who won't be getting one!
Going to get to bed early (for me) tonight to get up in the morning for the early shift.
If I get a bonus then between that, a pay increase, higher case counts and OT plus money left over from my tax refund, this is shaping up to be a good year for finances. So I just need to handle it responsibly.
