So, I went on a small spending spree today. Not that much.
Got candy for Halloween. Nobody showed up. That's okay, more for me!
Got the concrete for the rocket stove mass heater. Happy for that. Been planning and trying to get to building it for about 3 years now, I think. It's not really that expensive but not cheap. I got ten bags of concrete and already had two. Will probably need more but I think this should get the base done. I already have enough cinder blocks and the metal drum.
Did some grocery shopping, stopped for lunch.
Got a single sugar cane stalk. Going to change my approach and plant it before winter. See if it comes up in the spring.
I have a slow leak in a tire, so picked up a bottle of "Slime". Though I may not use it. Going to take a good look at the tires first and decide if I need new ones before winter.
Here's a cool thing! Got a notice from my insurance company that I got a gift card for filling out a questionnaire earlier this year. Got a $75 Amazon gift card!
