Well, the AC in the car held pressure overnight. I went and got two more cans of refrigerant and filled the system up. It's within a couple pounds of capacity as shown on my gauge. I admit, it's a cheap-ass gauge but I won't go spending the money on a professional gauge. Nice, cool air coming out of the system. Not extremely cold but I didn't have it on for long.
I also have problems with the well pump maintaining pressure. I think again it is a valve. The foot vale may have some stuff keeping it from closing completely. I irrigated the garden this evening and then poured some acid down the pipe to dissolve any organic material or mineral deposits that may be built up. The pump itself is losing pressure from the priming hole. I lost the correct plug, so been using a replacement bolt which doesn't fit perfectly. Have to check at Harbor Freight and see if I can get a replacement. I can't run the system on a timer until I correct that problem.
Very happy today is Thur and only one more day of work this week.
