State fair started this week. Taking daughter this weekend. I've conserved enough money for that to happen.
My pay has increased over previous months but catching up doesn't happen all at once. I have the bills paid so nothing gets shut off. Got paint for daughter's room. Got the trackball to relieve wrist strain and speed things up for work. Able to afford groceries without donating plasma. Ordered some other items, not mandatory but with definite use.
So, can take daughter to the fair and still have enough to live on until next Friday.
Woke this morning to find a cat directly beneath the chicken coop. The dogs were playing in direct line of sight and never made a sound. I grabbed the bow and arrow, shot an arrow at the cat. Missed but it ran off. Luckily, chicken was okay. The dogs still never made a sound. But a neighbor's small dog walks down the street and they go crazy.
Looks like the vine feeding my giant pumpkin is almost dead. So, it topped off between 80-100 lbs. Another one about equal size is still going fairly well.
